Welcome to my spin-off website aimed at the younger audience and parents. Whilst my website The Otaku’s Study tends to lean more towards a variety of anime series ranging from G-MA15+ titles, I found myself with a number of G and PG rated series such as Magical Meow Meow Taruto and Tamagotchi: The Movie that I could do more with then just a normal review. My articles will be less about reviewing the actual titles and more about analyzing the child-friendliness of the series, the “life-lessons” that can be learned and everything that should help the younger readers and their parents make a decision about what to watch.

I will not be just focusing on anime either – anything animated that you may find on your television can also be reviewed on here – from the 3PM childrens cartoon to a classic Christmas movie that gets aired every few years. This will not be as updated as regularily as “The Otaku’s Study” with perhaps only a couple of articles every month, however I do hope you enjoy this unique look into the series out there for children.

For those wondering what the term “Chibi”, it a Japanese term  - A style of cartooning in which the characters are drawn to be very small and cute. (Source: Wikipedia). The decision for the name was as it was a suitable term to go alongside with the otakustudy.com domain name.
